Wow!  I must admit this is pretty exciting.  I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent searching for domain names. I bought about 7 of them, but I am still not happy with any of them. By tomorrow, I will have probably purchased at least a half dozen more. Mr. Doo thinks I have lost my mind, but in my postpartum state he won’t dare question me. I woke up last night with a brilliant domain name, and alas, it was taken. I have no time for this cyberparking tomfoolery. I guess that is kind of what I am doing acquiring 3 different versions of my name.

I thought this name was a little cheesy, but I am going to go with it if for no other reason than I could not believe it was actually available.   Also, it has that Seinfeldesque quality to it.  A blog about everything and nothing – all at the same time. My anal spelling bee self is still nervous about the precise spelling of this phrase, but I went with majority rules after a quick Internet survey.

A little about me – I am a recovering recovered lawyer, aspiring photographer and psychologist, mommy to one glorious human baby and two furry ones, and wife to an incredible gem of a man.  I am an only child from a truly southern fried family — voluntarily transplanted after much gnashing of teeth by said southern fried family from  North Carolina to the Rocky Mountains.  Due to circumstances beyond my control, my immediate future seems to have me pointed for yet another move back to the land of grits and greens, and you better believe I am dragging my heels.

My hope with this blog is to write as candidly as possible about my life in real time.  I am hoping that it will help me on my quest to live deliberately, suck out the marrow of life, all that Walden BS that I swore to follow when I read that book in Mrs. Watford’s Advanced English course in 11th grade. It would also be great if I could follow in the footsteps of Heather Armstrong and support my family with this or any blog, but I am not feeling real keen on that one.  Who knows – if I could just get the domain name right.
